{"id":2321,"date":"2020-11-30T09:18:10","date_gmt":"2020-11-29T22:18:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/simerr.une.edu.au\/quicksmart\/?p=2321"},"modified":"2025-12-10T15:21:08","modified_gmt":"2025-12-10T04:21:08","slug":"our-new-administration-system-the-quicksmart-portal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/simerr.une.edu.au\/quicksmart\/2020\/11\/30\/our-new-administration-system-the-quicksmart-portal\/","title":{"rendered":"Our new administration system: The QuickSmart Portal"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>From January 2021, SiMERR will begin migrating all <em>QuickSmart\n<\/em>schools and applications in the current <em>QS <\/em>Dashboard to a new \u201ccatch-all\u201d\nadministration system; the <em>QuickSmart<\/em> Portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All applications, including Resources, Certificates, OZCAAS and the Data Upload tools will be accessible through the new system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Important:<\/strong> The biggest change in the new system will be the way schools log on. Currently, all staff in a school use the same account details to log in to the<em> QuickSmart<\/em> Dashboard site. In the <em>QuickSmart <\/em>Portal, each staff member involved with\u00a0<em>QuickSmart\u00a0<\/em>will have a personal login that grants staff different access permissions according to their role:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Executive:<\/strong>\u00a0The School Executive member who exercises overarching responsibility for the\u00a0<em>QuickSmart\u00a0<\/em>implementation. There will only be one\u00a0Executive<em>\u00a0<\/em>login per school.<\/li><li><strong>Coordinator:<\/strong>\u00a0The teacher (or teachers) responsible for managing the\u00a0<em>QuickSmart<\/em>\u00a0implementation.<\/li><li><strong>Instructor:\u00a0<\/strong>The\u00a0<em>QuickSmart\u00a0<\/em>Instructors (teachers and teacher assistants) who deliver\u00a0<em>QuickSmart\u00a0<\/em>instruction.<\/li><li><strong>Learner:\u00a0<\/strong>The\u00a0<em>QuickSmart<\/em>\u00a0(or Comparison) students. There is no limit to the number of students taking part in <em>QuickSmart<\/em> lessons in a school.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All schools will be contacted with further details via email\nin early 2021. Please be aware that some of our systems may experience minor\ntechnical issues over the next few weeks.
