{"id":3082,"date":"2022-02-02T10:35:01","date_gmt":"2022-02-01T23:35:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/simerr.une.edu.au\/quicksmart\/?p=3082"},"modified":"2025-12-10T15:20:48","modified_gmt":"2025-12-10T04:20:48","slug":"important-updates-for-quicksmart-2022-workshops","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/simerr.une.edu.au\/quicksmart\/2022\/02\/02\/important-updates-for-quicksmart-2022-workshops\/","title":{"rendered":"Important updates for QuickSmart 2022 workshops"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Due to the current nationwide COVID-19 situation, the scheduling and format of many upcoming QuickSmart Workshops has changed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Numeracy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>All face-to-face workshops will be postponed until at\nleast mid-March. A decision will be made at that point regarding new dates and\nfinal formats.<\/li><li>The three online Rural &amp; Regional workshops will\ncontinue as planned on their original dates; however, this is subject to review\nat the start of March.<\/li><li>Two online workshops will be run for continuing\nschools with only one or two participants on the following dates:<ul><li>28 Feb \u2013 1 March<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>7 \u2013 8 March<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Literacy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Both online Rural &amp; Regional workshops will continue as planned on their original dates.<\/li><li>Schools from the face-to-face groups will be added to the second online Rural &amp; Regional workshop on <s>8 and 9<\/s> 15 and 16 March.<\/li><li>A third online workshop has been created on the 15 and 16 of March for any schools that sign up for training after February 2.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Catch-Up Numeracy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Both online workshops will continue as planned on\ntheir original dates; however, this is subject to review at the start of March.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All up to date information can be viewed on the 2022 Workshop\nCalendar: <a href=\"https:\/\/simerr.une.edu.au\/quicksmart\/workshop-calendar\/\">https:\/\/simerr.une.edu.au\/quicksmart\/workshop-calendar\/<\/a>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All affected schools will be contacted over the next week regarding the changes to their workshops.
