{"id":3328,"date":"2022-06-23T12:35:27","date_gmt":"2022-06-23T02:35:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/simerr.une.edu.au\/quicksmart\/?p=3328"},"modified":"2025-12-10T15:20:36","modified_gmt":"2025-12-10T04:20:36","slug":"quicksmart-2022-workshop-two-dates-now-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/simerr.une.edu.au\/quicksmart\/2022\/06\/23\/quicksmart-2022-workshop-two-dates-now-available\/","title":{"rendered":"QuickSmart 2022 Workshop Two Dates Now Available!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Please note that this post is only relevant to those participating in <em>QuickSmart<\/em> training in 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to staff absences, we experienced a delay in confirming dates\nfor our second round of workshops, and we apologise for any inconvenience\ncaused by this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are happy to announce that most 2022 Workshop Two dates have now been finalised and can be viewed on our Workshop Calendar: <a href=\"https:\/\/simerr.une.edu.au\/quicksmart\/workshop-calendar\/\">https:\/\/simerr.une.edu.au\/quicksmart\/workshop-<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/simerr.une.edu.au\/quicksmart\/workshop-calendar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"calendar (opens in a new tab)\">calendar<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/simerr.une.edu.au\/quicksmart\/workshop-calendar\/\">\/<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emails will be sent to all schools partaking in <em>QuickSmart <\/em>training in 2022 soon, but please be advised that we are currently operating with a reduced number of staff and emails may be slightly delayed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, please do not hesitate to call us on 02 6773 5067\nor email us using <a href=\"mailto:quicksmart@une.edu.au\">quicksmart@une.edu.au<\/a>\nif you have any questions, concerns, or comments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Some notes:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Catch-Up Numeracy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The two groups we had for Workshop One have now\nbeen combined into one group.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Literacy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The Workshop One groups have been reconfigured\ninto state-based groups for Workshop Two. <\/li><li>These will all take place online.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Numeracy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>We initially planned for some of our Workshop Ones to happen as face-to-face workshops, but we were unable to do so, and they were all moved online.<\/li><li>However, we are now in a better position to offer face-to-face workshops, so our initial groups have been reconfigured accordingly for Workshop Two. <\/li><li>Relevant schools will be contacted soon and we will let them know whether their Workshop Two will take place in a physical venue or online.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Please note that this post is only relevant to those participating in QuickSmart training in 2022.
