Description
The proposed project is to be carried out in the Northern Territory and New South Wales. It builds upon the results of a number of studies since 2001 and in particular two large pilot programs conducted in 2005 in each state. An important part of this project is that it covers a complete year. To support this, funds from the Federal Department of Education, Science and Training have been allocated in both NSW and the Northern Territory. A substantial professional development program for teachers and teacher aides is an important part of this project.
