Description
The project aims to assist Primary School teachers to increase the engagement of indigenous students by assisting them to become aware of, and more responsible for, their own learning. Information and communication technology and thinking tools will be integrated across the students’ learning to empower them in the construction of their own knowledge. A team of teachers from each school will experience best practice, plan and implement in-school strategies, and report on the process. They will be mentored by educators with relevant experience and encouraged to observe and report on their observations of student engagement to determine the value-added to learning.
