Our new administration system: The QuickSmart Portal

From January 2021, SiMERR will begin migrating all QuickSmart schools and applications in the current QS Dashboard to a new “catch-all” administration system; the QuickSmart Portal.

All applications, including Resources, Certificates, OZCAAS and the Data Upload tools will be accessible through the new system.

Important: The biggest change in the new system will be the way schools log on. Currently, all staff in a school use the same account details to log in to the QuickSmart Dashboard site. In the QuickSmart Portal, each staff member involved with QuickSmart will have a personal login that grants staff different access permissions according to their role:

  • Executive: The School Executive member who exercises overarching responsibility for the QuickSmart implementation. There will only be one Executive login per school.
  • Coordinator: The teacher (or teachers) responsible for managing the QuickSmart implementation.
  • Instructor: The QuickSmart Instructors (teachers and teacher assistants) who deliver QuickSmart instruction.
  • Learner: The QuickSmart (or Comparison) students. There is no limit to the number of students taking part in QuickSmart lessons in a school.
